Account data: username, email address, password (hashed), profile information
Purchase data: order history, license keys, subscription details
Technical data: IP address, browser type, access logs
Payment data: processed by Stripe — we do not store full card details
Communications:support tickets, reviews, Q&A posts

3. How We Use Your Data

To operate and improve the platform
To process purchases and issue license keys
To send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, password reset, notifications)
To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
To comply with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis (Swiss DSG / EU GDPR)

We process your data based on:

Contract performance (processing your purchases)
Legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform security)
Consent (optional marketing emails, if applicable)

5. Data Sharing

We share data with:

Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
Cloudflare (CDN, storage) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
SMTP provider (transactional email)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active and for 2 years after deletion
Purchase records: retained for 10 years (Swiss commercial law requirement)
Support tickets: retained for 3 years

7. Your Rights (Swiss DSG)

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Object to processing
Data portability

8. Exercising Your Rights

You can exercise many of these rights directly within your account. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Privacy to:

Request a data export — we will prepare a JSON file containing your profile, purchase history, licenses, reviews, and support tickets. Exports are processed within 30 days.
Request account deletion — your personal data will be deleted or anonymised. Purchase records are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss commercial law (OR Art. 958f).

For requests not covered by the self-service tools, or to correct inaccurate data, contact privacy@pulseplugin.net. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies for session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, HTTPS, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — if you discover a security issue, please report it to loic@pulseplugin.net.

11. Changes

We will notify users of material changes to this policy via email or platform notice.
