Managing Licenses
View your license keys, manage server activations, and understand license statuses.
Finding Your License Keys
All your license keys are listed in Dashboard → Licenses. Each entry shows:
- The plugin name and your license key
- How many server activations are used vs. allowed
- The license status (Active, Suspended, Revoked)
- A list of activated servers with their labels
Activating on a Server
Activation happens automatically when your plugin starts up (if the seller has implemented license checking). There is no manual activation step from the dashboard.
If activation fails, common causes are:
- Wrong key in config — copy-paste the key directly from your Licenses dashboard
- Maximum activations reached — deactivate an old server first (see below)
- License suspended or revoked — contact the seller
- Network connectivity issue — the plugin should retry on next startup
Deactivating a Server
From your plugin config
Some plugins provide a command to deactivate (e.g. /plugin deactivate). Check the plugin's documentation for the exact command.
From the dashboard
If your server is no longer running (e.g. you migrated hosts), you can deactivate it from the Licenses dashboard. Click on the license, find the server in the activations list, and click Deactivate. This frees the slot immediately.
License Statuses
Active
The license is valid and can activate servers.
Suspended
Temporarily blocked by the seller. New activations are rejected, but existing activations continue working until their grace period expires. Contact the seller for more information.
Revoked
Permanently cancelled, usually due to a chargeback or terms of service violation. Existing activations stop working. Contact support if you believe this was an error.
Complimentary Licenses
If a seller has granted you a free license (e.g. for testing or review purposes), it appears with a Complimentary badge in your Licenses dashboard. These work identically to purchased licenses.
Lost or Compromised Key
If you've lost your key or believe it has been shared without your permission, contact the seller directly through the product page Q&A or via support. The seller can regenerate your key — the old key is immediately invalidated and all existing activations are cleared.
